What you'll do

As a Trade Supervisor at Optiver, you will be responsible for identifying, managing, and resolving live trading incidents across multiple automated trading strategies. You will act as the first responder to incidents, taking ownership from investigation to resolution. Your role will involve supervising and monitoring automated trading systems in various markets, ensuring that incidents are handled quickly and effectively.

You will work closely with risk managers and trading teams to alert key staff of any intraday trading issues, collaborating with engineers, brokers, and exchanges to resolve problems in real time. Your ability to communicate effectively under pressure will be crucial as you keep relevant stakeholders informed throughout the incident management process. You will also implement preventative measures to ensure that issues do not reoccur, contributing to a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the team.
