Your strong programming skills in languages like Java and Python empower you to develop performance-critical applications that handle real-time data processing. You understand the importance of observability and operability in systems, and you have experience implementing monitoring solutions that ensure system reliability. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust product features.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead efforts to enhance the resiliency of Orb's infrastructure, focusing on recovery mechanisms and tenant isolation to ensure uninterrupted service for customers. You will improve the observability of systems, implementing tools and practices that allow for proactive monitoring and incident response. Your responsibilities will include building user-facing infrastructure that processes real-time events, ensuring that performance remains optimal even during load spikes.

You will plan and execute scaling initiatives to accommodate significant customer growth, collaborating with other engineering teams to integrate reliable features into the product. Your role will also involve mentoring junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and best practices to foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
