What you'll do

As a Senior Actuarial Analyst at Oscar, you will contribute to the company's network performance analytics, focusing on affordability, forecasting, strategy, and pricing efforts across various ACA markets. You will analyze network-related performance trends and provider contract terms to inform budget planning and pricing strategies. Your role will involve building and refining analytical models that evaluate both historical and current performance, providing insights that shape Oscar's network-focused programs. You will report to the Director of Actuarial and collaborate with other teams to ensure data-driven decision-making.

You will be responsible for presenting your findings to stakeholders, helping them understand the implications of your analyses on the company's strategic direction. Your work will directly impact Oscar's ability to serve its members effectively and maintain a competitive edge in the health insurance market. You will also have opportunities to mentor junior analysts and contribute to the development of best practices within the actuarial team.
