Who you are
You are an entry-level professional with a strong understanding of data mining workflows and program rules. You have experience in providing subject matter expertise and are eager to contribute to payment integrity solutions. You are detail-oriented and capable of identifying issues that require action, providing steps needed for remediation. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are comfortable working with both internal teams and external vendors.
You possess a foundational knowledge of SQL, which you use to analyze data and support decision-making processes. You are proactive in seeking out solutions and improvements in data mining practices. Your communication skills allow you to effectively convey complex information to stakeholders, ensuring that everyone is aligned on objectives and processes.
What you'll do
In this role, you will ensure that payment integrity data mining programs are running smoothly and effectively. You will be responsible for identifying claims that require attention and providing actionable insights to improve processes. You will collaborate with the Senior Manager, Payment Integrity, to facilitate vendor and internal programs, ensuring that all workflows are optimized for efficiency.
You will provide thought leadership on processes that impact payment integrity, working closely with your team to enhance data mining solutions. Your role will involve analyzing data trends and patterns to identify areas for improvement, and you will be expected to contribute to the development of best practices in data mining.
What we offer
Oscar offers a competitive salary range of $96,876 to $127,149 per year, along with comprehensive employee benefits. You will have the opportunity to participate in Oscar's unlimited vacation program and be eligible for annual performance bonuses. The position is based in New York City, requiring a hybrid work schedule with three days in the office each week, including mandatory in-office days for team meetings.
