You have a strong background in financial analysis and modeling, with experience in healthcare or insurance sectors. You understand the importance of quantifying financial impacts and translating strategic investments into measurable outcomes. Your communication skills allow you to effectively liaise between business units and technical departments, ensuring clarity and accuracy in financial oversight.
You are detail-oriented and possess a knack for building complex financial models that are both actuarially sound and practical. Your analytical mindset enables you to assess the financial implications of various UM strategies, ensuring that all initiatives are tracked and reported accurately. You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy working with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
What you'll do
As the UM Affordability & Value Analytics Manager, you will be responsible for quantifying and communicating the financial impact of all UM initiatives. You will work closely with the UM Strategy team to ensure that strategic investments translate into measurable affordability outcomes. Your role will involve building complex financial models to size the impact of UM strategies, and you will serve as the primary liaison between the UM business unit and the Medical Economics/Actuarial departments.
You will report to the Director of UM Authorization Strategy and will be expected to provide insights that drive decision-making processes. Your work will directly influence the financial oversight of the UM Strategy team, ensuring that all investments are accurately sized and tracked. You will also participate in team meetings and events, contributing to a collaborative and innovative work environment.
What we offer
Oscar provides a competitive salary range of $117,576 - $154,318 per year, along with comprehensive employee benefits. You will have the opportunity to participate in Oscar's unlimited vacation program and be eligible for annual performance bonuses. The position is based in New York City, requiring a hybrid work schedule with three days of in-office work per week, including mandatory in-office days for team meetings.
