Who you are
You are detail-oriented and possess a strong sense of smell, making you an ideal candidate for the Lab Associate position at Osmo. You thrive in hands-on environments and are eager to contribute to laboratory sample preparation and sensory evaluation. Your ability to maintain accurate records and organize chemical inventory will be essential in supporting the Technical Evaluation team. You understand the importance of olfactory intelligence and its applications across various industries, including fragrance and health.
Desirable
Experience in a laboratory setting or familiarity with sensory evaluation processes would be beneficial. A background in chemistry or a related field can enhance your understanding of the materials you will be working with. You are open to learning and adapting to new techniques and technologies that can improve lab workflows and sensory testing.
What you'll do
In this role, you will dedicate 60% of your time to laboratory work, which includes preparing fragrance samples and maintaining lab workflows. You will support the packing and labeling of samples, ensuring that they are ready for sensory testing. Additionally, you will assist in organizing the chemical inventory and maintaining accurate records to ensure that materials are prepared and available for testing. Your role will also involve assisting team members with the setup and execution of sensory panels, which includes logistics and sample preparation.
