Overview

PadSplit is hiring a Host Support Advocate to serve as a critical problem-solver and trusted partner to hosts. This role requires strong analytical and empathetic skills in client-facing environments.

Who you are

You are a resilient and analytical professional with experience in client-facing roles, such as Customer Success or Client Services. You excel in environments that require strong listening skills and critical thinking, allowing you to navigate complex and often ambiguous situations effectively. Your ability to operate as both a problem solver and mediator in emotionally charged situations sets you apart. You understand the importance of empathy and fairness in decision-making, ensuring that all parties involved feel heard and respected.

You bring a background in Project Management or a similar field, which has equipped you with the skills necessary to handle challenging scenarios with sound judgment. Your experience has taught you how to balance the needs of the business with the concerns of the hosts, making you a trusted partner in their journey with PadSplit. You are committed to the mission of providing affordable housing and are motivated by the impact your work has on the community.

What you'll do

As a Host Support Advocate, you will serve as a critical problem-solver for our hosts, guiding them through various challenges as the business scales. Your role will involve thoughtful investigation and balanced decision-making to ensure fair and accurate outcomes for all parties involved. You will be responsible for addressing host inquiries and concerns, providing them with the support they need to succeed in their roles. Your ability to communicate effectively and empathetically will be essential in building strong relationships with our hosts.

You will also collaborate with other teams within PadSplit to ensure that host feedback is incorporated into our processes and systems. By doing so, you will help us continuously improve our services and enhance the overall experience for our hosts. Your analytical skills will be put to use as you assess situations, identify trends, and propose solutions that align with our mission of financial empowerment through housing.
