Who you are
You have extensive experience in security engineering, with a strong focus on cloud environments and compliance frameworks. Your background includes working with AWS and implementing security best practices across various platforms. You understand the complexities of capital markets and have a keen eye for identifying potential vulnerabilities in systems.
You possess excellent problem-solving skills and can effectively communicate security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Your collaborative nature allows you to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams, ensuring that security is integrated into all aspects of the development process.
What you'll do
In this role, you will play a central part in shaping and scaling Parafin's security posture. You will be responsible for ensuring that foundational systems are secure, reliable, and compliant. This includes overseeing security measures for compute, networking, identity, and compliance systems. You will also work closely with the Security and Infrastructure team to develop and implement security policies and procedures that align with industry standards.
You will conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation strategies. Collaborating with engineering teams, you will help integrate security practices into the software development lifecycle, ensuring that security is a priority from the outset. Additionally, you will stay updated on the latest security threats and trends, adapting strategies as necessary to protect Parafin's assets and data.
