Overview

Paytm is hiring a Senior Executive for Depository Operations to manage various backoffice processes including demat requests and transaction authorizations. This role is based in Bangalore and requires expertise in handling physical documents and compliance.

Job Description

Who you are

You have significant experience in depository operations, particularly in managing backoffice processes such as demat and remat requests. Your expertise includes handling physical documents and ensuring compliance with audit requirements. You are detail-oriented and have a strong understanding of transaction processing and record maintenance.

You are familiar with various transaction requests including off-market and buyback processes, and you have experience in authorizing these transactions. Your knowledge extends to handling physical DIS documents, including scanning and uploading them into relevant systems. You understand the importance of maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely processing of requests.

What you'll do

In this role, you will oversee the depository backoffice UAT and manage the execution of physical DIS requests received from clients. You will be responsible for authorizing off-market and buyback transactions, ensuring that all processes are executed efficiently and in compliance with regulations. You will also handle the pledge and unpledge instructions, including the necessary file uploads.

You will process EDIS and Cusa files from the settlement team, maintaining records of all off-market and buyback requests received through the easiest platform. Your role will involve generating batch exports from the DP back office and uploading them on CDAS, as well as checking daily DIS reports for pending uploads.

Additionally, you will manage the physical document handling process, including scanning, inwarding, and storage. You will also be responsible for printing and signing physical CMRs and sharing them with the customer service team as per client requests. Your expertise in CDSL audit data handling will be crucial in ensuring compliance and responding to inspection requests.
