Paytm is seeking a Back Office Executive for Commodity Operations to manage post-trade operations and settlement activities. You'll handle daily reconciliation, reporting, and compliance with exchange norms. This role requires 3-5 years of experience in commodity back office operations.

Job Description

Who you are

You have 3-5 years of experience in commodity back office operations, particularly with MCX/NCDEX, and possess in-depth knowledge of the settlement process and margin systems. Your attention to detail and process-driven mindset enable you to manage daily reconciliation and reporting effectively. You are familiar with exchange guidelines and settlement cycles, ensuring compliance with regulatory norms.

Your proficiency in MS Excel and back-office trading tools allows you to manage uploads and downloads of trade files and margin reports efficiently. You have strong communication and time management skills, which are essential for coordinating with clearing members for commodity settlement and pay-in/pay-out activities. Additionally, you hold a NISM – Commodity Module certification, which enhances your understanding of the industry.

What you'll do

In this role, you will handle post-trade operations and settlement activities for commodity trading, ensuring that all processes are executed in accordance with exchange timelines. You will manage the pay-in/pay-out process for funds and commodities, verifying statutory levies and charges as necessary. Your responsibilities will also include regulatory compliance and reporting, which are critical for maintaining the integrity of operations.

You will be tasked with daily reconciliation and reporting, ensuring that all transactions are accurately documented and compliant with exchange and regulatory norms. Your role will involve coordinating with various stakeholders, including clients and clearing members, to facilitate smooth settlement processes. You will also be responsible for managing client documentation and monitoring margins to ensure compliance with exchange guidelines.
