Overview

Paytm is hiring a Senior Compliance Manager for their AML team to oversee transaction monitoring and ensure compliance with regulations. This role requires 7+ years of experience in AML transaction monitoring.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a minimum of 7 years of experience in the AML transaction monitoring domain, demonstrating a strong understanding of Anti Money Laundering and Know Your Customer regulations. Your analytical skills are top-notch, allowing you to effectively review transaction monitoring alerts and determine suspicious activities from a Money Laundering perspective. You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to collaborate effectively with various teams within the organization. You are detail-oriented and have a solid grasp of using spreadsheets to analyze data effectively.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing transaction monitoring alerts generated by the AML system to identify any suspicious activities related to Money Laundering or Terrorist Financing. You will also analyze cases referred by business and risk teams to determine their suspicious nature. Your expertise will be crucial in preparing Grounds of Suspicion for filing Suspicious Transaction Reports to the Financial Intelligence Unit in India. Additionally, you will engage in various related activities as needed to support the AML Compliance team.
