You have a bachelor's degree in Law, Commerce, Business, Ethics, CA, MSW, or a related field — this foundational knowledge equips you to navigate the complexities of employee escalations and ethics investigations. An advanced degree or professional certifications in Compliance, Ethics, Risk, or Law will be an added advantage, showcasing your commitment to the field.
You possess strong investigative judgment and analytical capabilities — you can handle sensitive matters with discretion and ensure that investigations are thorough and unbiased. Your ability to collect, review, and analyze evidence, including documentation and interview inputs, is crucial for the role.
Your interpersonal skills are top-notch — you excel in stakeholder management, working closely with HR, Legal, Risk, and senior leadership to resolve employee escalations in a timely and compliant manner. You understand the importance of promoting a culture of ethical conduct and accountability across the enterprise.
You are detail-oriented and organized — managing highly confidential matters requires a meticulous approach, and you thrive in environments where you can implement and sustain a strong ethics and integrity framework. Your proficiency in investigation tools, case management systems, and reporting dashboards will enhance your effectiveness in this role.
What you'll do
As the Deputy Manager for Employee Ethics & Investigation, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing employee-related escalations and ethics investigations across the organization. You will conduct independent investigations into alleged misconduct, ethical breaches, and fraud-related concerns, ensuring that all investigations are completed within defined timelines.
You will collaborate with cross-functional partners and internal/external stakeholders to identify control gaps and develop dashboards and trackers that promote transparency and accountability. Your role will involve analyzing evidence and synthesizing findings to provide actionable insights to senior leadership.
You will play a key role in fostering a culture of ethical conduct within the organization — by promoting awareness and understanding of ethical standards, you will help mitigate ethical, reputational, and regulatory risks. Your ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders will be essential in driving compliance initiatives.
You will also be involved in training and educating employees on ethics and compliance matters, ensuring that everyone understands their responsibilities and the importance of ethical behavior in the workplace.
