Overview
Paytm is hiring an Exit Management Specialist to oversee the offboarding process for employees. You'll ensure compliance with internal policies and statutory requirements while delivering a smooth exit experience. This role requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in managing offboarding processes, ensuring compliance with internal policies and statutory requirements. Your experience includes handling high-volume exits while maintaining accuracy and a positive employee experience. You possess excellent communication skills and empathy, allowing you to manage exit interactions professionally while safeguarding organizational interests.
You are adept at coordinating with various teams, including Payroll, Finance, IT, and HR Business Partners, to ensure a seamless offboarding process. Your ability to manage time pressure and meet tight timelines for settlements and statutory compliance is crucial, especially given recent labor law mandates around timely settlement of dues.
What you'll do
In this role, you will manage the end-to-end offboarding process for resignations, terminations, and retirements, handling full-and-final settlements, exit clearances, and final documentation for employees across multiple entities. You will process a high volume of monthly exits, ensuring timely and accurate settlements and clearances. Your responsibilities will include computing all dues owed, such as unpaid salary, leave encashment, gratuity, pending bonuses, reimbursements, statutory deductions, and any recoveries.
You will also manage statutory compliance, including requirements under the Payment of Gratuity Act and other relevant labor laws. Preparing exit-related documentation, such as exit clearance forms, relieving letters, experience certificates, and final settlement letters, will be part of your daily tasks. Additionally, you will maintain exit Management Information System (MIS), track exit analytics and attrition data, and document audit records for compliance and future reference.
What we offer
At Paytm, we value the contributions of our employees and strive to create a supportive work environment. You will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the overall employee experience during the offboarding process. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement, as we believe in the potential of every candidate.
