Who you are
You have more than 3 years of experience in channel and distribution sales, demonstrating a strong understanding of market dynamics and customer needs. Your background includes managing a sales team of at least five members, where you've successfully driven growth and achieved sales targets. You possess a smartphone, bike, and helmet, which are essential for this role, as you will be engaging with merchants in the field.
Your market knowledge is robust, allowing you to identify opportunities for onboarding new merchants and enhancing relationships with existing ones. You are proficient in Excel and data tools, which you use to analyze sales metrics and drive performance. Your zeal for growth is evident in your proactive approach to expanding the business and maximizing incentives for your team.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for selling Paytm's offline payment solutions to petrol and gas station merchants, as well as other retail businesses. You will serve as the key point of contact for customers, managing relationships from initial outreach to final purchase. Your focus will be on onboarding new merchants and ensuring they are well-serviced, maintaining strong relationships with PSU and oil marketing companies.
You will lead your sales team, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their targets. Your responsibilities will include analyzing sales data, developing strategies for market expansion, and ensuring that your team earns lucrative incentives. You will also be expected to collaborate with other departments to align sales efforts with overall company goals.
