Who you are
You have more than 3 years of experience in channel and distribution sales, demonstrating a strong understanding of market dynamics and customer needs. Your background includes managing a sales team of at least five members, where you've successfully driven growth and achieved sales targets. You possess a good market knowledge that enables you to identify opportunities and build relationships with key stakeholders in the oil and gas sector.
You are proficient in Excel and other data tools, which you use to analyze sales metrics and track performance. Your ability to communicate effectively and maintain relationships with PSU companies and oil marketing firms sets you apart. You are driven by a zeal for growth and are eager to contribute to Paytm's mission of bringing financial services to a broader audience.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead the sales efforts for Paytm's offline payment solutions, focusing on onboarding new merchants and servicing existing ones. You will act as the key point of contact for customers, guiding them from initial outreach through to purchase. Your responsibilities will include developing sales strategies, managing relationships with petrol and gas station merchants, and ensuring that your team meets its sales targets.
You will also be responsible for maintaining good relationships with PSU companies and oil marketing firms, ensuring that Paytm's offerings align with their needs. Your role will involve analyzing sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement, as well as coaching and mentoring your sales team to achieve their best performance.
