You have a proven track record in product design management, ideally with 5+ years of experience leading design teams in a tech-driven environment. Your expertise in user-centered design principles allows you to create intuitive and engaging user experiences that resonate with entrepreneurs and small businesses. You thrive in collaborative settings, working closely with product managers and engineers to align design strategies with business goals. Your strong communication skills enable you to articulate design concepts effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
You are passionate about creating products that make a difference in people's lives, particularly in the financial sector. Your experience in fintech or related industries gives you a unique perspective on the challenges faced by small businesses and their accounting needs. You are proactive and take ownership of your projects, ensuring that the design team delivers high-quality work on time. You are also comfortable working in a remote-friendly environment, adapting to different team dynamics and fostering a culture of trust and autonomy.
Desirable
Experience with design tools such as Figma or Adobe XD is a plus, as is familiarity with agile methodologies. A background in user research and usability testing will help you make informed design decisions that enhance user satisfaction. What you'll do
As the Senior Product Design Manager at Pennylane, you will lead a team of product designers in creating innovative solutions that simplify financial management for SMEs. You will also mentor and guide your team members, fostering their professional growth and encouraging a culture of creativity and collaboration.
