You have 5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering, with a strong background in cloud computing and automation. Your expertise in AWS and Docker allows you to design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines that ensure seamless deployment of mission-critical updates. You are well-versed in site reliability engineering principles and have a knack for troubleshooting complex issues that arise in high-stakes environments.

Your experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Ansible and Terraform enables you to automate infrastructure management effectively. You are comfortable working in a collaborative environment and enjoy engaging directly with customers to understand their needs and ensure their success. Your strong communication skills allow you to articulate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

What you'll do

As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Percipient, you will be responsible for ensuring that our deployment pipelines are efficient and reliable. You will work closely with customers at their facilities several days a week, providing hands-on support and troubleshooting as needed. Your role will involve using open-source tooling and cloud services to automate deployments, ensuring that our products scale effectively to meet customer demands.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices in release management and site reliability engineering. Your responsibilities will include monitoring system performance, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing solutions to enhance system reliability. You will also be tasked with documenting processes and creating training materials to help onboard new team members.
