Who you are
You have 5+ years of full-time software engineering experience, particularly in frontend development. Your expertise in JavaScript and frameworks like React allows you to create seamless user interfaces that enhance user experience. You understand the importance of security in the crypto ecosystem and are passionate about building intuitive applications that empower users. You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Your strong communication skills enable you to interface directly with end-users and developers, gathering feedback to inform product direction. You thrive in collaborative environments and are eager to contribute to team culture by raising the bar with each new hire.
Desirable
Experience with blockchain technologies and a passion for the crypto ecosystem would be a plus. Familiarity with backend technologies such as Node.js can enhance your contributions to the team. You are comfortable working in a remote setting and can manage your time effectively to meet project deadlines.
What you'll do
In this role, you will own the development of features on Phantom's web platforms, including the Phantom Extension and the company website. You will lead initiatives to support additional blockchains and launch new complementary products or infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement user-friendly features that meet the needs of millions of users. You will also interface directly with end-users and developers, collecting feedback to continuously improve the product. As a senior member of the team, you will play a key role in mentoring junior engineers and fostering a culture of excellence within the team.
