Who you are

You are a Senior Frontend Engineer with a strong focus on delivering exceptional user experiences. You have a deep understanding of React and TypeScript, and you excel in creating modular component designs and managing application state with tools like Redux. Your experience with automated testing frameworks such as Jest ensures that the applications you build are reliable and performant. You are pragmatic about shipping features quickly while maintaining high quality, knowing when to polish and when to push. You are a great communicator who collaborates effectively with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to create a seamless user experience.

You hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or you have equivalent practical experience. You are passionate about performance tuning and error handling, and you understand the importance of testing in the development process. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are eager to contribute to a team that values diverse perspectives and backgrounds.

What you'll do

In this role, you will own the core user experiences of Phantom's self-custodial wallet, ensuring that it feels world-class and trustworthy. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement features that enhance user engagement and satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include developing new user interfaces, optimizing existing components for performance, and ensuring that the application is responsive and accessible across devices. You will also be involved in code reviews and mentoring junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and best practices to elevate the team's overall skill set.

You will collaborate with designers to translate their visions into functional and visually appealing interfaces, and you will partner with backend engineers to ensure seamless integration of frontend and backend services. Your role will require you to stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in frontend development, continuously seeking ways to improve the user experience and the development process.
