You have 5+ years of experience in site reliability engineering or a related field, with a strong focus on maintaining high availability and performance of large-scale systems. Your expertise in cloud technologies, particularly AWS, allows you to design and implement robust infrastructure solutions that support millions of users. You are proficient in containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes, which you use to streamline deployment processes and enhance system reliability.

Your strong programming skills in Python enable you to automate tasks and develop monitoring solutions that proactively identify and resolve issues. You have a solid understanding of Linux systems and can troubleshoot complex problems effectively. Your experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform allows you to manage and provision infrastructure efficiently, ensuring consistency and scalability across environments.

You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working closely with development teams to improve system performance and reliability. Your problem-solving skills and attention to detail help you identify potential bottlenecks and implement solutions that enhance user experience. Desirable

Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus and Grafana is a plus, as it helps you maintain visibility into system performance. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and practices will further enhance your ability to deliver reliable software quickly and efficiently.

What you'll do

As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at PhonePe, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of one of the world's largest fintech infrastructures.
