What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for managing and scaling PhonePe's digital payments platform, ensuring its reliability and performance. You will collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement robust systems that can handle millions of transactions daily. Your responsibilities will include monitoring system performance, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing solutions to improve efficiency. You will also participate in incident management, leading post-mortem analyses to prevent future occurrences.

You will work closely with product and engineering teams to understand their needs and provide reliable infrastructure solutions. Your role will involve developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, automating processes to enhance deployment efficiency. You will also contribute to the development of best practices for site reliability, ensuring that all teams adhere to these standards. As a senior member of the team, you will mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow in their roles.
