Overview

Pivotal is seeking a Lead Planner to oversee production planning and material coordination for eVTOL aircraft manufacturing. This role requires expertise in balancing demand and capacity while ensuring on-time delivery across multiple product lines.

Job Description

Who you are

You have extensive experience in production planning and scheduling within aerospace manufacturing, particularly in AS9100-regulated environments. Your proactive approach allows you to effectively balance demand, capacity, and material availability, ensuring schedule integrity and on-time delivery across various product lines. You excel in cross-functional collaboration, working closely with Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Quality, and Program Management to translate approved demand into executable production plans.

Your ability to identify risks proactively and evaluate material and capacity constraints is a key strength. You implement effective mitigation plans to protect customer and contractual delivery commitments. You thrive in complex environments and are adept at managing multiple priorities while maintaining a focus on quality and efficiency.

What you'll do

As the Lead Planner at Pivotal, you will lead the production planning process for our innovative eVTOL aircraft. You will be responsible for developing master schedules and coordinating materials to ensure that production runs smoothly and efficiently. Your role will involve close collaboration with various departments to ensure that all aspects of production are aligned with demand forecasts and customer requirements.

You will drive the planning process by analyzing production capacity and material availability, making adjustments as necessary to meet changing demands. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining schedule integrity and ensuring that all production milestones are met. You will also play a key role in identifying potential risks in the production process and developing strategies to mitigate these risks.

In addition to your planning responsibilities, you will serve as a key point of contact for cross-functional teams, facilitating communication and collaboration to ensure that production goals are achieved. You will be instrumental in translating complex BOMs into actionable production plans, ensuring that all teams are aligned and informed.
