You have a proven track record of leading engineering teams, ideally with experience in customer growth and experience initiatives. Your leadership style fosters collaboration and innovation, enabling your team to excel in delivering exceptional customer experiences. You understand the importance of aligning engineering efforts with business goals, ensuring that your team's work directly contributes to customer satisfaction and revenue growth.
With a background in software engineering, you possess a strong technical foundation that allows you to engage with your team on complex projects. You are comfortable discussing technical challenges and solutions, and you have experience working with APIs and developer tools. Your ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders is a key asset in your role.
You are passionate about enhancing the developer experience and understand the critical role it plays in customer success. You have experience in driving initiatives that improve onboarding processes and streamline customer interactions with technology. Your strategic mindset enables you to identify opportunities for growth and efficiency within the organization.
Desirable

What you'll do
In this role, you will lead an engineering organization of over 35 people, focusing on customer growth and experience. You will drive initiatives aimed at accelerating customer velocity and creating delightful experiences throughout their journey with Plaid. This includes overseeing projects related to revenue acquisition, customer onboarding, and enhancing the developer dashboard.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, support, and implementation, to ensure that engineering efforts align with business objectives. Your leadership will be crucial in scaling usage and improving operational efficiency across go-to-market teams. You will also be responsible for mentoring and developing your team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Your role will involve setting clear goals and expectations for your teams, ensuring that they have the resources and support needed to succeed. You will regularly assess team performance and implement strategies to enhance productivity and engagement.
