Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience in marketing, particularly in B2B environments, where you've successfully managed experiential marketing initiatives that resonate with target audiences. Your background includes a strong understanding of how AI is transforming customer engagement, and you are adept at leveraging technology to enhance marketing strategies. You thrive in collaborative settings, working closely with sales and community teams to create memorable experiences that drive customer relationships. You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to articulate marketing strategies effectively to both internal teams and external partners.
Desirable
Experience with community engagement and event marketing is a plus, as is familiarity with platforms like Slack and Discord that facilitate modern customer interactions. You are comfortable working in a hybrid environment, balancing in-office collaboration with remote flexibility.
What you'll do
In this role, you will own the strategy for in-person and virtual events aimed at attracting new customers and expanding relationships with existing ones. You will identify high-leverage opportunities for engagement, moving beyond traditional trade shows to create unique experiences that align with Plain's mission. Collaborating with the Head of Community and other stakeholders, you will design and execute events that not only generate leads but also foster a sense of community among users. Your responsibilities will include setting up events, managing logistics, and measuring the impact of these initiatives on customer acquisition and retention.
