Field Marketing Manager β’ Mid-Level
Anrok β’ San Francisco - On-Site
Job Description
Anrok is the leading tax automation platform enabling businesses to expand globally without compliance complexity.
As the digital economy has grown 6x over the last decade, software businesses have gone from not worrying about sales tax to needing to monitor exposure, calculate rates, and file returns across 20+ US states and many countries worldwide. This creates a critical bottleneck for companies that should be able to transact with customers everywhere.
Anrok eliminates this complexity by connecting with billing and payment systems to automate tax monitoring, calculations, and filing end-to-end. Our unified platform handles the ever-changing maze of tax laws at municipal, state, and federal levelsβso companies can focus on growth, not compliance.
Our customers include:
40% of Forbes Top 50 AI companies
20% of Forbes Top 100 Cloud companies
Top companies like Notion, Anthropic, and Cursor
We're making compliant digital commerce a reality for companies big and small, backed by over $100M from leading investors including Spark Capital, Sequoia, Index, and Khosla Ventures.
We are seeking a Field Marketing Manager to own our field marketing strategy and execution. This role will identify and execute high-impact conferences and events, plan customer and prospect dinners, and drive Sales Qualified Opportunities from field activities.
In this role, you will:
Develop and execute quarterly field marketing calendar, identifying key conferences, trade shows, and industry events that align with target accounts and revenue goals.

Own end-to-end event logistics including vendor management, booth design, collateral, registration, and on-site execution to deliver seamless experiences.
Manage swag inventory, budget, and ordering to ensure sales and marketing teams have materials for events and prospect engagement.
Train Account Executives on event attendance best practices, pre-event prospecting, booth engagement strategies, and post-event follow-up to maximize event ROI.
Own Sales Qualified Opportunity generation metric from field marketing activities, tracking leads from events through to qualified pipeline and closed revenue.
Build reporting dashboards to measure event performance including attendance, leads generated, Sales Qualified Opportunities created, pipeline influenced, and ROI by event type.
What excites us:
4+ years of field marketing or event marketing experience in B2B SaaS with a proven track record generating pipeline.
Experience in field marketing, event marketing, or demand generation with focus on conferences and in-person events in B2B SaaS.
Proven track record planning and executing events that generate qualified pipeline, with measurable impact on Sales Qualified Opportunities and revenue.
Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple events simultaneously, juggle vendors, timelines, and cross-functional stakeholders.
Experience with event marketing tools and CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot) to track event performance and attribution from registration through closed deals.
Budget management experience including forecasting event costs, tracking spend, and calculating ROI to justify field marketing investments.
What we offer:
The equity upside of an early-stage startup with the product-market fit of a later-stage company.
Daily lunch and snacks for those working out of our office hubs.
Medical, dental, and vision insurance covered 100%.
One Medical membership covered, flexible sick benefits, and more.
Annual learning and development stipend for books, online courses, and conferences, as well as a curious team to share your learnings with.
Home internet reimbursement stipend.
