What you'll do

As a Staff Frontend Platform Engineer at Pleo, you will join the Web Core team, focusing on enabling product engineers to build and ship high-quality web software. You will own the foundations of the web stack, ensuring that the tooling and infrastructure support the needs of the product teams. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify user needs and translate them into technical requirements. Your role will involve mentoring junior engineers, sharing best practices, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team. You will also be responsible for optimizing the performance of the web applications, ensuring they are responsive and user-friendly. You will participate in code reviews, contribute to architectural discussions, and help shape the future of Pleo's web platform. Your contributions will directly impact the experience of over 40,000 customers across Europe, making spend management more effective and empowering.
