You have experience or a demonstrated interest in big data technologies, showcasing your analytical mindset and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with technical programming and data query tools such as Python, SQL, and Tableau is essential for your success in this role. You possess excellent written and verbal communication abilities, allowing you to articulate insights effectively. Your ability to think creatively and analytically will help you uncover valuable insights from complex data sets. You thrive in collaborative environments and are eager to grow alongside a diverse team of professionals.
What you'll do
As part of Point72βs Market Intelligence team, you will engage in deep fundamental research, applying data science and engineering techniques to alternative data sets. You will collaborate with industry researchers, product managers, data scientists, and engineers to build compliant research products that address the questions our investment professionals care about most. Your role will involve analyzing data to uncover insights about companies, industries, and the broader economy, contributing to the development of research products that support investment decisions.
