Who you are
You have a strong background in computer science, holding either an undergraduate or graduate degree in the field. With over 2 years of experience developing research and trading infrastructure at a financial institution, you possess the skills necessary to excel in this role. Your proficiency in Python is complemented by a solid understanding of object-oriented design, unit testing, and conda environment management. You are also familiar with SQL and JavaScript, which are essential for the tasks at hand.
Your experience with execution and order management systems, as well as real-time data servers, gives you an edge in this position. You have a solid understanding of Linux OS, including system components, process management, and shell scripting. Strong communication skills are part of your toolkit, allowing you to collaborate effectively with portfolio managers, quant researchers, and traders.
You are committed to the highest ethical standards and take ownership of your work. Your willingness to troubleshoot and correct issues ensures that the systems you manage are robust and efficient. You thrive in a collaborative environment where you can learn and lead technology projects that have a high business impact.
Desirable

What you'll do
As a Quantitative Developer, you will design and develop software that supports strategy research and trading for a portfolio management team focused on systematic credit and related asset classes. Your role will involve building and improving tools for data acquisition, processing, and visualization, which are crucial for the team's success. You will work on the execution and order management system, ensuring that it operates smoothly and efficiently.
You will also be responsible for creating live dashboards and P&L reconciliation tools that provide valuable insights into trading performance. Managing the team's CI/CD pipeline and job running infrastructure will be part of your daily responsibilities, ensuring that all tech components are functioning optimally. Your ability to troubleshoot and correct any issues that arise will be essential in maintaining the robustness of the systems you oversee.
