What you'll do
During your 10-week internship, you will work closely with Point72’s Global Information Security team to monitor, detect, and respond to cyber threats. You will gain exposure to security operations and threat detection, learning how to implement security monitoring across a sophisticated global trading infrastructure. You will explore cloud security architecture and controls spanning AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud platforms, gaining practical experience in protecting sensitive financial data. You will also learn about application security and secure development best practices, as well as data protection strategies and encryption technologies, including data loss prevention tactics. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to engage in security automation and tool development to enhance detection and response capabilities.
