You have 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on building scalable applications in healthcare technology. Your expertise in Java and Spring Boot allows you to design and implement robust backend systems that handle sensitive data securely. You understand the importance of HIPAA compliance and have experience working in regulated industries, ensuring that all solutions meet necessary standards.

Your proficiency in cloud services, particularly Azure, and container orchestration with Kubernetes (AKS) enables you to deploy applications efficiently and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform. You are familiar with CI/CD practices and tools like GitHub Actions and Jenkins, which you leverage to streamline development workflows and enhance team productivity.

You possess a solid understanding of database technologies, including PostgreSQL and Redis, allowing you to optimize data storage and retrieval processes. Your experience with frontend technologies like React complements your backend skills, enabling you to contribute to full-stack development when needed.

You are a proactive problem solver who thrives in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and improve healthcare outcomes. What you'll do

As a Principal Software Engineer at PointClickCare, you will lead the design and development of our healthcare platform, ensuring it meets the needs of over 30,000 provider organizations. You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define technical requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions that improve patient care.

You will take ownership of critical components of the system, driving architectural decisions and implementing best practices for software development. Your role will involve conducting code reviews, providing feedback, and mentoring team members to elevate the overall quality of the codebase.
