Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience as an Analytics Engineer, with a strong background in data modeling and visualization. You are proficient in SQL and Python, and have experience with tools like Tableau and Looker to create insightful dashboards that inform product decisions. Your analytical mindset allows you to derive actionable insights from complex datasets, and you are comfortable working in a cross-functional environment, collaborating with Product, Design, and Engineering teams.

You have a solid understanding of A/B testing methodologies and are skilled in designing experiments that drive user engagement and retention. Your experience with ETL processes ensures that data is clean, reliable, and ready for analysis. You thrive in environments where you can build scalable analytics infrastructure and are passionate about leveraging data to enhance user experiences.

Desirable

Experience with Google Analytics and BigQuery is a plus, as is familiarity with data warehousing concepts. You are a proactive communicator, able to present findings to stakeholders clearly and effectively. You enjoy mentoring junior team members and sharing your knowledge of best practices in analytics and data science.

What you'll do

In this role, you will take ownership of Posh's product analytics ecosystem, ensuring that user behavior is accurately tracked and reported. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define key metrics and KPIs that align with business objectives. Your responsibilities will include building and maintaining data models that support product analytics, as well as developing dashboards that provide clarity into feature usage.

You will lead efforts to implement best practices in experimentation and data tracking, ensuring that the analytics infrastructure is robust and scalable. Your work will directly influence product decisions, helping the team understand user behavior and identify opportunities for improvement. You will also be responsible for conducting deep dives into user data to uncover trends and insights that can drive strategic initiatives.
