You have a strong background in quantum sensing and atomic physics, with experience in both theoretical and experimental research. Your expertise includes navigation modeling and modern Bayesian estimation techniques, which you have applied in real-world scenarios to enhance sensor capabilities. You are skilled in signal processing and data analysis, allowing you to assess sensor performance effectively. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with experimental physicists to translate research into practical applications. Your problem-solving skills enable you to develop innovative control solutions and algorithms for sensor fusion. You are passionate about pushing the boundaries of quantum technology and making it useful for real-world applications.

What you'll do

In this role, you will perform essential research and development into next-generation quantum sensors, focusing on control system development and classical and quantum sensor fusion algorithms. You will develop novel simulation tools to enhance the performance of quantum sensors using atom-interferometry. Collaborating with experimental physicists, you will conduct data analysis to assess sensor performance in real-world environments and demonstrate the functionality of your new methods.
