Q-CTRL is seeking a Software Integration Engineer to manage the deployment and operational readiness of quantum sensing software on UAS platforms. You'll work closely with systems and hardware engineers to ensure software is correctly integrated and tested. This role requires strong engineering fundamentals and a hands-on approach.
Job Description
Who you are
You have a solid foundation in software engineering principles and a passion for solving complex engineering challenges. Your experience includes working with deployment and integration of software systems, particularly in environments that require rigorous testing and validation. You thrive in collaborative settings, working alongside systems and hardware engineers to ensure seamless integration of software with physical platforms.
You possess strong problem-solving skills and are comfortable working in fast-paced environments where adaptability is key. Your background may not necessarily include quantum technologies, but you are eager to learn and apply your skills to innovative projects. You are detail-oriented and understand the importance of operational readiness in software deployment, especially in critical applications like navigation and sensing.
What you'll do
As a Software Integration Engineer at Q-CTRL, you will take ownership of the deployment and configuration of our navigation and quantum sensing software on UAS platforms. This hands-on role requires you to ensure that the software developed at our headquarters is correctly integrated, configured, and tested in both lab and field environments. You will collaborate closely with systems and hardware engineers to bring up full sensor and navigation stacks, verifying their correct operation prior to flight.
You will manage data flow for analysis and help establish robust deployment, testing, and release practices for hardware-in-the-loop and fielded systems. Your contributions will be vital in supporting defense and aerospace programs, and you will be part of a growing global engineering team that operates at the intersection of software, hardware, and field operations.
What we offer
At Q-CTRL, you will be part of a dynamic team that is transforming quantum research into deployable technologies. We offer a collaborative work environment where your contributions will have a direct impact on the development of cutting-edge quantum sensors. You will have opportunities for professional growth and development as our technology matures, and you will play a key role in shaping the future of quantum sensing applications.
We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement. Join us in our mission to address real-world problems with innovative quantum solutions.
