Who you are
You have a strong background in site reliability engineering, with experience in managing cloud infrastructure and ensuring system reliability. Your expertise in AWS and Azure allows you to effectively support both internal applications and customer-facing services. You are comfortable working in a collaborative environment and value diversity in your team. You understand the importance of continuous integration and deployment, and you have experience with CI/CD pipelines.
You possess solid Linux skills, enabling you to troubleshoot and optimize system performance. Your analytical mindset helps you identify potential issues before they impact users, and you are proactive in implementing solutions. You are a team player who enjoys sharing knowledge and learning from others, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
What you'll do
As a Site Reliability Engineer at Qumulo, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining solutions that manage and monitor applications used internally and by customers. You will oversee the internal build and test infrastructure, ensuring that multiple builds and hundreds of thousands of tests run continuously in both on-prem environments and the cloud. Your role will involve collaborating with engineering teams to provide continuous feedback and support the delivery of new product releases.
You will also build and operate managed components of Qumulo's Scalable File Service, ensuring high availability and keeping services up to date with the latest features. Your work will directly impact the reliability and performance of Qumulo's offerings, helping to manage exabyte-scale data efficiently. You will engage in incident management and capacity planning, ensuring that systems are robust and scalable.
