Who you are
You have experience as a Data Platform Engineer on large systems — you understand customer pain points and opportunities related to data platforms, and you're excited to tackle challenges in a high-performance environment. You have a strong background in cloud technologies, particularly AWS, and are familiar with data processing frameworks like Apache Airflow. Your programming skills in Python enable you to build robust data pipelines and optimize data workflows.
You thrive in collaborative settings, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the data platform meets the needs of various stakeholders. You are detail-oriented and have a knack for problem-solving, which helps you identify and resolve issues efficiently. Your experience with databases, particularly PostgreSQL, allows you to design and manage data storage solutions effectively.
Desirable
Experience with data lakes and large-scale data processing is a plus. Familiarity with additional tools and technologies in the data ecosystem will be beneficial as you contribute to the modernization of Radar's data stack.
What you'll do
As a Data Platform Engineer at Radar, you will be responsible for building and enhancing the data platform that supports over 1 billion API calls per day.
