You have a solid background in data engineering, with experience in building and maintaining data platforms that support various data teams. You are familiar with modern data technologies and have a passion for optimizing processes through automation and metadata utilization. You thrive in collaborative environments and are eager to explore new technologies that can enhance the data stack. Your problem-solving skills enable you to tackle complex challenges and deliver robust solutions that meet user requirements.
Desirable
Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or GCP is a plus, as well as familiarity with data discovery tools and metadata management. You are comfortable working in agile teams and have a proactive approach to learning and implementing new technologies. A background in sports or media industries could be beneficial, but not essential.
What you'll do
As a Data Platform Engineer at DAZN, you will be responsible for building and improving the infrastructure that supports data engineering and data discovery. You will work on moving existing services and pipelines to Kubernetes, ensuring that the platform is scalable and reliable. Your role will involve enhancing current services and developing new ones to meet the evolving needs of the data teams.
