Who you are

You have a strong background in technical accounting and financial reporting, with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. You are detail-oriented and possess excellent analytical skills, allowing you to navigate complex financial regulations and ensure compliance. Your ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams makes you a valuable asset in driving financial strategy and operations. You are proactive in identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions that enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial processes. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable managing multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy. You are committed to continuous learning and staying updated on the latest accounting standards and regulations.

What you'll do

As the Technical Accounting Manager at Ramp, you will oversee the technical accounting function, ensuring compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements. You will lead the preparation and review of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Collaborating with various departments, you will provide guidance on accounting treatment for complex transactions and assist in the development of accounting policies and procedures. You will also play a key role in the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting. Your expertise will be crucial in supporting audits and liaising with external auditors to facilitate a smooth audit process. Additionally, you will identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in financial reporting and accounting operations.
