What you'll do

As the Manager of Avionics Mechanical Design Engineering, you will lead a team responsible for the design and development of the avionics systems for the Terran R rocket. You will oversee the full lifecycle of the avionics systems, ensuring that they meet all performance and safety requirements. Your role will involve collaborating with propulsion, manufacturing, and software teams to integrate avionics systems into the overall vehicle design.

You will be responsible for setting project goals and timelines, managing resources, and ensuring that your team has the support they need to succeed. Your leadership will foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, encouraging team members to share ideas and take ownership of their work.

In addition to technical leadership, you will also play a key role in mentoring and developing your team — you will provide guidance and support to help them grow in their careers and enhance their skills. You will conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure that everyone is aligned with the team's objectives.
