You have a strong background in materials engineering, particularly in additive manufacturing processes such as Powder Bed Fusion. Your experience includes developing and characterizing materials that are essential for aerospace applications, ensuring they meet rigorous performance standards. Desirable
Experience with non-destructive evaluation (NDE) techniques is a plus, as it will enhance your ability to inspect and ensure the integrity of materials used in rocket manufacturing. Familiarity with welding and advanced composites will also be beneficial in this role, as these are key areas of focus for the team.
What you'll do
As a Staff Materials & Processes Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the development of the Terran R rocket. Your responsibilities will include researching and implementing new materials and processes that enhance the performance and reliability of the vehicle. You will collaborate with engineering teams to integrate these materials into the design and manufacturing processes, ensuring they meet the necessary specifications for flight.
