Experience with Powder Bed Fusion technology is a plus, as is familiarity with the aerospace manufacturing landscape. What you'll do
As the Lead Manufacturing Process Engineer, you will oversee the development and implementation of manufacturing processes for the Powder Bed Fusion team. You will collaborate with engineers and technicians to design and optimize workflows, ensuring that all processes meet quality and safety standards. Your role will involve conducting experiments to validate new manufacturing techniques and materials, as well as analyzing data to drive process improvements. You will also be responsible for training and mentoring junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence within the team.
You will play a critical role in the production of the Terran R vehicle, ensuring that the manufacturing processes are scalable and capable of meeting the demands of commercial spaceflight. Your contributions will directly impact the success of the project, as you work to refine and enhance the capabilities of the manufacturing team. You will be involved in cross-departmental collaboration, working closely with design, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless integration of manufacturing processes.
