Your ability to communicate complex legal concepts in a clear and business-forward manner sets you apart. You are comfortable managing outside counsel and ensuring compliance with privacy and security regulations. You have a proactive approach to dispute prevention and management, creating practical playbooks that help the company navigate challenges effectively.

What you'll do

As the Lead Counsel at Remi, you will be the first line of legal counsel, advising executives on a variety of corporate, commercial, and employment matters. You will own the commercial contracting process, establishing a scalable contracting stack and driving negotiations with enterprise partners. Your role will involve leading company financings and governance, managing cap table hygiene, and overseeing board matters. You will support revenue and partnerships by structuring agreements that balance risk and speed. Additionally, you will partner with Security and Engineering teams on compliance efforts, including SOC 2 and ISO initiatives. You will also play a key role in M&A and strategic projects, running diligence and integration playbooks as the company scales. Your expertise will be crucial in creating a calm and practical communication style that fosters collaboration across teams.
