What you'll do

In this role, you will independently negotiate and close complex SaaS agreements with public sector customers and their partners. You will exercise keen judgment on risk tradeoffs and escalation decisions, ensuring that all agreements are beneficial for both the company and its clients. As the primary legal advisor to U.S. public sector go-to-market teams, you will help shape deal strategy and negotiation posture across complex and high-stakes opportunities.

You will counsel internal teams on federal and state procurement laws and regulations, guiding them through the intricacies of compliance obligations and data handling requirements. Your expertise will be crucial in advancing Datadog’s U.S. public sector commercial strategy, and you will work closely with legal leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to influence company policies that impact public sector customers.
