Who you are
You have extensive experience in real estate law, particularly in handling complex land transactions and developments. Your background includes advising on contract negotiations, reviewing title defects, and navigating land use and entitlements. You are adept at engaging with business strategy and collaborating with internal partners to drive project success. Your strong legal advisory skills are complemented by your ability to understand the broader business implications of real estate decisions.
You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple projects simultaneously. Your attention to detail ensures that all legal aspects of land acquisition and development are thoroughly addressed. You have a proactive approach to problem-solving and are skilled at identifying potential legal issues before they arise. Your communication skills allow you to effectively convey complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders, fostering collaboration across teams.
What you'll do
In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the acquisition and development of land for Rowan's data center projects. You will assist in negotiating contracts and ensuring compliance with legal requirements throughout the development process. Your responsibilities will include reviewing and curing title defects, advising on environmental permitting, and managing leasing agreements. You will collaborate closely with project leaders during site selection, development, and financing phases, ensuring that all legal considerations are addressed.
You will also engage in strategic discussions with internal partners to align legal strategies with business objectives. Your expertise will be vital in navigating the complexities of real estate transactions, and you will be expected to provide insights that contribute to the overall success of the projects. As part of your role, you may need to travel up to 20% to various project sites as required.
