You have 5+ years of backend engineering experience, particularly with Go, and a proven track record of building scalable systems that enhance business operations. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with product and design teams to define and implement solutions that meet client needs. You enjoy providing constructive feedback and fostering a positive team culture.

You have a strong understanding of system architecture and are adept at introducing abstractions that improve team velocity. Your experience includes working with cross-functional teams, navigating the natural tensions that arise between engineering, design, and product management. You are committed to continuous learning and are eager to share your knowledge with others, helping to elevate the entire team's capabilities.

What you'll do

In this role, you will make significant contributions to the development of software that empowers independent supply stores across the country. You will leverage your expertise in Go to design and implement backend systems that are robust and efficient. You will collaborate closely with product and design teammates to define the features and functionalities that will best serve our clients. Your responsibilities will include setting and enforcing engineering standards, conducting code reviews, and mentoring junior engineers to foster their growth.

You will be instrumental in driving the engineering team's success by introducing best practices and innovative solutions that enhance our software offerings. You will also engage with clients to gather feedback and understand their needs, ensuring that our products are aligned with their business goals.
