Desirable
Experience in the Internet of Things (IoT) space or related technology sectors is a plus. You have a track record of successfully closing deals and managing the sales process from initial contact to final negotiation. Familiarity with proof of concepts and multi-faceted pricing negotiations will set you apart. You are comfortable working remotely and can effectively manage your time and priorities to meet sales targets.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales of Samsara's IoT solutions to small and medium-sized customers. You will engage with potential clients to understand their needs and demonstrate how Samsara's products can enhance their operations. Your typical sales will range from $5k to $20k, requiring you to navigate complex sales processes that involve multiple stakeholders. You will conduct product demonstrations and assist clients in understanding the benefits of sensor data, ultimately helping them make informed decisions.
You will also be involved in negotiating pricing and terms, ensuring that both the client and Samsara achieve a mutually beneficial agreement. Your role will require you to stay informed about industry trends and competitor offerings, allowing you to position Samsara's solutions effectively in the market. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product development, to ensure that customer feedback is incorporated into future product enhancements.
