You have a proven track record in sales, ideally with experience in technology or IoT solutions — you understand how to engage with small to medium-sized businesses and can articulate the value of sensor data in improving operations. You thrive in high-energy environments and are motivated by the opportunity to make a significant impact in industries that are crucial to the global economy. You possess excellent communication skills and can navigate complex sales processes involving multiple stakeholders. You are comfortable with negotiations and can manage pricing discussions effectively. You are passionate about technology and its potential to transform operations, and you are eager to help customers harness the power of IoT data.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for building Samsara's business by bringing IoT solutions to small to medium-sized customers. You will engage in sales processes that typically involve transactions ranging from $5k to $20k, which may include proof of concepts and negotiations with various stakeholders such as owners and operational managers. You will work closely with customers to understand their needs and demonstrate how Samsara's solutions can enhance their operations. You will be expected to develop and maintain relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships. You will collaborate with internal teams to align product offerings with customer requirements and provide feedback to enhance the sales process. Your efforts will contribute to the overall growth of Samsara and the digital transformation of industries that rely on physical operations.
