You have 5+ years of experience in machine learning and computer vision, with a proven track record of leading teams to deliver impactful AI solutions. You possess strong analytical skills and are adept at interpreting complex data to drive actionable insights. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to align AI initiatives with business objectives. You are passionate about leveraging technology to improve safety and sustainability in physical operations, and you understand the importance of continuous learning and adaptation in the rapidly evolving field of AI.
Desirable
Experience with edge computing and cloud deployment of AI models is a plus. Familiarity with the transportation or logistics industry can enhance your ability to contribute effectively to our mission. What you'll do
As the Senior Manager of Computer Vision at Samsara, you will lead the Safety AI team in building end-to-end computer vision and machine learning solutions for our AI dash cameras. You will oversee the entire model lifecycle, from data curation and training to evaluation and deployment, ensuring that our systems deliver real-time insights that enhance driver safety. You will collaborate with product managers and engineers to define project scopes and timelines, ensuring alignment with our strategic goals. Your role will involve conducting experiments to validate model performance and iterating on solutions based on feedback and data analysis. You will also be responsible for fostering a culture of innovation within your team, encouraging creative problem-solving and the exploration of new technologies.
