Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in program management, particularly within the information security domain — you've successfully led cross-functional teams and managed complex security initiatives that span cloud and infrastructure security, application security, and security operations. Your background includes working closely with engineering and product teams to ensure that security measures are integrated seamlessly into the development lifecycle.

You possess a deep understanding of governance, risk management, and compliance (GRC) frameworks — you know how to align security initiatives with organizational goals and regulatory requirements. Your ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders sets you apart, allowing you to advocate for security best practices across the organization.

You are a strategic thinker who can prioritize multiple initiatives and drive them to completion — you thrive in environments where you can act as a force multiplier for leadership, ensuring that security programs are well-planned and executed on time. Your experience with cloud security and infrastructure management is complemented by a strong grasp of security operations.

Desirable

Experience with security frameworks such as NIST or ISO 27001 is a plus — you understand the importance of adhering to industry standards and can implement them effectively within your organization. Familiarity with security tools and technologies will help you in assessing and mitigating risks associated with information security.

What you'll do

In this role, you will serve as the central program owner for all information security initiatives — you will coordinate efforts across various teams, ensuring that security programs are executed efficiently and effectively. You will work closely with the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and other InfoSec leaders to align security strategies with business objectives.

You will be responsible for driving the execution of complex security programs, which will involve collaborating with engineering, product, and infrastructure teams — your role will require you to manage timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure successful outcomes. You will also engage with external vendors to enhance security capabilities and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining program documentation, tracking progress against milestones, and reporting on the status of security initiatives to senior leadership — you will be the go-to person for all information security program-related inquiries. You will also mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of security awareness and best practices throughout the organization.
