Overview
Schonfeld is seeking a P&L Valuations Associate to manage daily and monthly P&L reporting and reconciliations for OTC Derivatives. You'll work closely with the Geneva system and require strong knowledge of Listed Products and advanced Excel skills. This role is based in New York.
Job Description
Who you are
You have a Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of experience in P&L Reporting/Product Control — you possess a strong knowledge of Listed Products and a solid understanding of vanilla options. Your experience includes analyzing and reporting on P&L, and you are familiar with Corporate Actions and their impact on P&L. Advanced Excel skills are second nature to you, and you have a strong work ethic with excellent verbal and written communication skills. You take ownership of your work and have a proven track record of delivering results. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a keen attention to detail.
Desirable
It would be beneficial if you have knowledge of VBA or Python, as well as experience with OTC Derivatives. Familiarity with Bloomberg and the Geneva system would also be advantageous.
What you'll do
In this role, you will work closely with the P&L Valuations team in the New York office, collaborating with various groups across the firm including Business Analytics, Fund Accounting, Operations, and Front Office teams. Your primary focus will be on daily and monthly P&L reporting, ensuring accuracy in P&L reconciliations and valuations for OTC Derivatives. You will oversee pricing and P&L processes, set up new products, and liaise with global departments to ensure accurate T+1 and Monthly P&L reporting. You will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of the enterprise P&L at Schonfeld, working with the in-house Geneva system and Fund Administrator.
What we offer
Schonfeld offers a competitive salary range of $110,000.00 to $130,000.00, along with potential performance bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package.
