Job Description
Who you are
You have a solid background in operations, ideally within the hedge fund industry, and are familiar with T+1 reconciliations and break resolution. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with both internal and external stakeholders to resolve operational issues and implement best practices. Your analytical skills are strong, allowing you to define operational procedures and recommend process improvements effectively. You are detail-oriented and can manage multiple tasks while maintaining a focus on efficiency and accuracy. You enjoy tackling unique operational challenges and are eager to contribute to strategic initiatives that enhance workflows. You have experience liaising with various teams, including Middle Office, Asset Servicing, and Fund Accounting, to ensure smooth operations.
What you'll do
In this role, you will perform T+1 reconciliations, ensuring accuracy between internal systems and Prime Brokers for various financial instruments such as Equity, Futures, Options, FX, Bonds, and more. You will review external fund administrators' reconciliations and work closely with stakeholders to resolve any discrepancies. Your collaboration will extend to Operations Technology, Trade Support, and Accounting Valuations Teams, where you will help automate processes and implement strategic initiatives. You will also create structure by defining operational procedures and rolling out improvements to enhance efficiency. Working alongside senior team members, you will contribute to strategic initiatives aimed at streamlining workflows and achieving operational excellence.
What we offer
Schonfeld offers a competitive salary range of $110,000 to $140,000, along with performance bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package. You will be part of a dynamic team that values collaboration and innovation in the hedge fund industry.
